PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
UPDATE 12/3/18 Roxy is located in a foster home in NH. She is doing well and is learning to walk on a leash. She is ready to meet her new family! 10.20.18 Update: Roxy is about 10 months old now and weighs about 35 lbs. She may fill out a little more but is mostly grown at this point. Roxy is house trained, gets along great with other dogs, and coexist nicely with cats. She is low-med energy level and is content to just hang out in her foster home and be a couch potato. She loves kids. She suffered an injury a few months ago, when she escaped her foster yard and was hit by a car. Her pelvis was fractured. With cage rest and time, it has healed but she still has a minor limp which she may always have. She is not painful and the vet doesn't recommend any treatment. Roxy's only behavior issue is that when other dogs approach her when she's sleeping, she sometimes snaps at them if they startle her out of a deep sleep. No one likes to be woke from a good nap, right? The first picture shown of Roxy was taken on Oct. 15. Please email kelley.aasr@gmail.com for more info.
5.6.18 These babies were taken in from a hoarder type situation. We do not know their actual breeds. They are very much mixed breeds. There were 3 litters of puppies and no telling how many daddy dogs involved. We believe they have some lab in them for sure and a few of them appear to have been fathered by the giant schnauzer mix that was there. They are big puppies and will most likely be large dogs when grown. They are friendly, sweet babies, and with some training and patience, I believe they will make great companions. They are a little too rough for really young kids, as they haven't yet learned to play gently and not use their teeth while playing. They just need someone to teach them these things. They are smart and very capable and eager to learn. These babies are about 3 1/2 months old, making their date of birth on or about 1/20/18.
