He was found as a stray a few months ago, but no owner came forward. The lady who found him couldn't keep him and gave him to a friend who really loves him but feels that she is unable to give him the time and training that he really needs. He is good with kids, her other dogs, and cats (he does try to play with the cats, which they do not appreciate). He is just a bit too high energy for her family and she works very long hours, making it hard to give him the exercise he needs. We believe Spot is an Australian Shep and/or Catahoula mix. He is stunning with his gorgeous markings and 1 blue eye. Spot currently weighs 43lbs and is about 8months old. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He is working hard on house training but still has the occasional accident. He is completely crate trained. This guy would benefit from an active family who doesn't mind putting forth a little effort to train him and give him the exercise he craves. He is very smart (true to both breeds) and will learn eagerly and quickly. For more information about adopting Spot, please email kelley.aasr@gmail.com More about SpotGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350.
