Hi my name is Charlie…aka Charlie Mac to my foster family. I can’t tell ya much about my early life since someone dumped me off on a country road to fend for myself but I can tell ya about my life since May 1 when this real nice lady and her kids rescued me. When they brought me home with them I was itchy from all the tics and so hungry my ribs were showing a tad bit. They fed me yummy food, got rid of my itchiness and gave me lots of love. They introduced me to their other 4 legged family members and I sure do love to play with them….any dog, any size. I haven’t been introduced to kitty cats yet so not too sure if they will like my playfulness or not. But boy oh boy do I also LOVE kids…right now I have an 8 year old that thinks I hung the moon and I think she does too…so much that I follow her everywhere and love to snuggle her all the time. My foster humans give me chew bones and toys to play with to keep me entertained since they guess I’m about a year old and still have some puppy energy in me…man toys are the best and I sure do get goofy when I play with my toys. They say I’m a Heinz 57 pup but my foster mom tells me that’s the best kind to be. I now weigh in at 57 pounds, have had all my vaccinations, am heartworm negative and have been neutered so YEP I’m ready to find my forever family and love them with everything I have in me. I walk well on a leash, ride well in a car and I’m doing really good at not making a mess in the house. I love to be outside and I’m working on getting down the game of fetch…I like to chase it but not sure about the giving it back part yet. I’m also working on my manners since I love people so much I haven’t fully figured out sometimes they might need a little space. Take a chance on this Charlie boy here and let’s be happy together!
