PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

7/30 Sancho Panza is a soon-to-be graduate of Paws In Prison. I pulled Sancho and his brother Don Q from the shelter back in May. No one wanted them to die, everyone wanted them saved. So we saved them. And we thought for sure they would be adopted within the 2 months they were at PIP. And that was wish has come true for Sancho's brother. But not for Sancho. He hasn't had a single adoption interest in 2 months. Not 1 inquiry. Now he is all set to graduate next week, and he has nowhere to go. Every foster is full. We are full at my house as well. Please share this post to help Sancho find his forever home.
We believe he is a German Shorthair Pointer mix. He is kind and sweet hearted. He is inquisitive and fun, and eager to learn and please. Sancho is housetrained, leash trained, and knows all of his basic commands. He is ready to take his Canine Good Citizen test and has all the skills to pass with flying colors. He gets along great with other dogs and is playful as well as affectionate. Hes about 45 lbs and 1 yr old.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
