PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

8/30/25 Look at this black beauty! This is Nara and she’s ready to find her forever home!

Nara is about 3 months old.

Her mom appears to be mostly Lab, dad unknown. Mom is about 45 pounds. We expect Nara to be medium sized when full grown.

She is a sweet little baby though she can be a little on the feisty side! She is very smart and loving. She comes when she is called. She knows sit and is doing well with house training. 

She is good with other dogs, kids, and cats.

More info from her foster mom-

I am intelligent and learn very fast. My foster mom says I am so beautiful and smart; she says it like literally all the time.

I am obedient and confident; not afraid to explore new environments. I am very trainable! There is a senior cat in my foster home, and I don’t pay much attention to her. She hissed at me once and I didn’t like it, so I leave her alone now.

I am doing well with my leash training. I have gone on woods hikes and tried walking in some pond water. I am not afraid of noises but do like to bark when I want to express myself… I am working on this with my foster mom. I enjoy playing in water and doing well in my crate. I am working on potty training, have had no accidents in my crate, but if left for too long without a pee break in the house, I will find a place to pee. I am food motivated and love to learn!

Nara would do great in a home with another dog, or with a human who really likes training. She is crazy smart and wants to please. She would thrive with a human who can spend a lot of time with her hiking, running, or just out and about. Nara is ready to be you ride or die. She has the most incredible eyes that just capture you and look into your soul. She is a special dog.

She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
