PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
7/19/25 Shishito
 Shishito - another one of our pepper puppies! And she is precious! Shishito is a catahoula mix who is about 8 weeks old right now. She will likely be a large girl when grown, around 60 lbs is our guess. Shishito has a short little nub tail. We don't know where this came from but several pups in this litter were born this way. She has been raised around dogs, cats, and kids, resulting in a well socialized pup. She will be ready for her new home at the end of July or early August. We hope to have a family approved and ready for her when the time comes. She is a sweet girl with so much love to give! She is being spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
Harrisburg, PA 2am Saturdays
Port Jervis, NY 5am Saturdays
Southington, CT 8am Saturdays
East Hartford, CT 11am Saturdays

More about Shishito *adoption pendingGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
