PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

About Jack

8/27/25 Jack is a sweet little mixed puppy who was found with his sister Reba and 2 other puppies, abandoned in the woods. They were just tiny babies at that time and in very poor condition. Jack is almost fully crate trained and is doing great with house training. He is easily distracted when outside and sometimes forgets to poop while out, resulting in the occasional accident. Hes still learning. He walks great on leash and is a smart little boy. He is very treat motivated, so training is easy with him. Jack is about 16 lbs and 4 months old, so he probably won't be larger than 30 lbs once grown. He is a very fun, playful boy who loves to play with other dogs, but his true love is humans. He seeks out human companionship over dogs, but he enjoys other dogs too. He hasn't been around cats except when he was at the vet, and he was unconcerned with them while there. We do not know his breed, but he has a beautiful brindle and white coat and a short, stocky build. He is ready to find a home of his own!

*This website makes us pick a breed, we picked Mountain Cur bc that’s one breed my phone suggested he might be. To be clear, we do not know his breed but he is likely a mix of many breeds.

He is neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Jack is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays.

To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059

email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.
