PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

10/24/25 Mia is a beautiful blonde mixed breed girl who came into rescue as a stray. She was picked up off the street by a good Samaritan, and was very pregnant at the time of her rescue. She had a difficult delivery which required a c-section, but despite that, she has been an excellent mama. She has taught her babies very well, resulting in well socialized, sweet natured babies. Her babies are listed for adoption as well (Freda, Anni, Bjorn, and Benny.) Mia is house trained, and gets along very well with the other dogs amd cats in get foster home. She is wonderful with children of all ages. We believe Mia is about 3 years old. She is now spayed and up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. She weighs about 50 lbs. Mia would love a home where she can have a human to cuddle with. She is so loving and longs for a family to cuddle with and return her affection. She is also playful, but not high energy. She does not require a ton of exercise but would be happy to tag along on walks, hikes, or any outings. She loves people and would be a great choice for someone who wants a social butterfly! She enjoys swimming and car rides!

Mia is located in Arkansas and can be adopted locally, or she can transport out of state. Adopter will need to pick her up (or arrange for a trusted friend/family to pick him up) in TN, VA, MD, PA, NY, or CT. Residents of other states may adopt as well, as long as they can meet our transporter along their route.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
