LIBBY is a beautiful black lab/border collie mix found wandering in a remote rural area.  We estimate her date of birth to be mid-June 2012.  Close to fully-grown in early May, she stands about 22 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 40 lb.  She will likely mature to a weight  of 45-50 lb.  Libby is fully-vaccinated, de-wormed, spayed and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventives.  She is house-trained and leash-trained. Her coat is gorgeous -- soft, shiny, medium-length.  She has a warm, gentle, affectionate disposition and is wonderful with young children.  She is a little shy with strangers but warms up quickly once she knows it's safe.  She basically loves everyone she meets, especially if they pet her. She's great with young children. Libby is a dog who sits at your feet, leans against your leg and looks up at you adoringly. The most important thing to her is being with her human.  She currently lives in a foster home with many other dogs. She does well with other dogs but would really like to have more attention. This dog is currently located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted. For more information please email kelley.aasr@gmail.com.
