PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

My name is Sandy and I help with the rescue Adopt-a-stray Rescue of Arkansas- I am also the foster mom to Ronaca and I am the one that found her, or I guess she and her sisters found me after some heartless person dropped them on my street. Ronaca and her 3 sisters had obviously not been fed well in a while and they were covered in so many ticks that I can't believe they could even be as healthy as they are now. Ronaca is very beautiful and has a longer coat than her sisters. She is completely vetted and ready her forever home- including wormed, shots, rabies vaccine, spayed and anything else she needs.  Ronaca looks to be about 8 to 9 months old , weighs approximately 28 pounds. She has a very carefree and loving personality. She would be a great addition to any family situation!  Ronaca is located in Arkansas but we transport dogs to the Northeast weekly once they are adopted. For more info on this sweet girl, please email kelley.aasr@gmail.com  and thank you for considering one of our rescues

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
