PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
7/20/15 This beautiful girl strayed into a good Samaritan's yard and they were not able to locate her owner. They have agreed to foster her for a short while, but can't commit to long term fostering due to their senior dogs having some health issues and being territorial and stressed with another dog present. Due to this, Sweetie is not allowed to come inside the house, and has to stay in the yard and garage area, where she is lonely and cries to come inside with the people. Sweetie will be spayed and brought up to date on shots, etc before she goes to her new home. Below is what her foster family wrote about her. I believe Sweetie will make an excellent addition to any family. "We call her Sweetie because she found us with no collar and no chip and she is very sweet. She was quartering the local road and then ran down our driveway to greet us when we were leaving. Young female white pit bull ( mix), approx. 30 pounds. House trained and knows basic commands. Submissive to the other dogs. Craves attention and cries to be let inside. She does bark at bicyclists on the road and boats on the river. We can’t keep her with our two older dogs who have health issues. She isn’t fat, but was definitely well fed when found. We placed notices in the neighborhood and local message boards, but no one has claimed her."
